Berry Breakfast Protein Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (40g) frozen blueberries
  • ½ (100g) ripe medium banana
  • 1 fresh pitted date, chopped
  • ⅓ cup (80mL) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 sachet (46g) UNCLE TOBYS OATS Quick Sachets Big Bowl Protein Berry Flavour
  • Yogurt and mixed fresh berries, for serving, if desired

Method

  1. In a blender, combine frozen berries, banana, date, milk, and Berry Oat sachet. Blend until you have a smooth, creamy mixture. Transfer to a bowl or jar; either cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) or prepare to serve now.
  2. If refrigerated overnight, the next morning, give the mixture a good stir. If it's too thick, you can add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
  3. To serve, top with a dollop of yogurt, fresh berries, chopped hazelnuts, and a few fresh mint leaves, if desired.
