Uncle Tobys Plus Immune Support Breakfast Bars

A delicious breakfast recipe featuring UNCLE TOBYS PLUS Immune Support Breakfast Bars, banana, rolled oats, pepitas and maple syrup.

INGREDIENTS

2 ½ cups UNCLE TOBYS PLUS Immune Support

½ cup almond meal 

½ cup pepita seeds

½ cup UNCLE TOBYS Traditional Rolled Oats 

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 

1/3 cup pure maple syrup 

METHOD

Pre-heat the oven to 160 C fan forced.

Line one baking tray with non-stick baking paper.

Place all ingredients except the olive oil and maple in a large bowl and mix well.

In a small bowl, add maple and olive oil and whisk until mixture slightly thickens.

Combine maple mixture to the rest of ingredients and mix until well combined. 

With clean hands, tightly press two heaped tablespoons of the mixture into bars Arrange them on the prepared trays and flatten slightly. 

Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Makes 6 bars
