Bircher Muesli Recipe

Creating a café-inspired Bircher Muesli with O&G is as simple as SOAK, SLEEP & EAT!

PINA COLADA OATS

Ingredients

½ cup UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli
½ cup (125mL) coconut water
1 ripe coconut, split in half
½ cup coconut yoghurt, skim or reduced fat
4 pieces dried pineapple, sliced
2 tbsp roasted coconut chips
Mint, for garnish

steps

1.In a medium bowl combine UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli and coconut water. Refrigerate overnight.

2.Evenly divide soaked oats in coconut halves, top with coconut yoghurt, pineapple and coconut chips. Garnish with mint.

Serves: 2

CHIA & BIRCHER OATS

Ingredients

½ cup UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli
½ cup (125mL) coconut water
¼ cup chia seeds
1/3 cup (90mL) coconut milk , light
2 strawberries, sliced
1 banana, sliced
1 passionfruit, deseeded

steps

1. In a medium bowl combine UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli and coconut water. In a separate small bowl, combine chia seeds and coconut milk. Refrigerate overnight.

2. Evenly divide soaked oats and soaked chia seeds in glasses. Top with strawberries, banana and passionfruit.

Serves: 2

DRIED PEACH & CANDIED MACADAMIA BIRCHER

dried peach&candied macadamia bircher

Ingredients

½ cup UNCLE TOBYS’ Bircher Muesli
½ cup (125mL) milk, skim or reduced fat
½ cup vanilla yoghurt, skim or reduced fat
4 dried peaches
2 tbsp crushed honey macadamias
2 teaspoons maple syrup

steps

1. In a medium bowl combine UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli and milk. Refrigerate overnight.

2. In a medium bowl; combined soaked oats and yoghurt. Divide mixture between two martini glasses, decorate with peaches, crushed macadamias, and drizzle with maple syrup.

FRUITS OF THE FOREST BIRCHER

Ingredients

½ cup UNCLE TOBYS’ Bircher Muesli
½ cup (125mL) milk , skim or reduced fat
½ cup vanilla yoghurt, skim or redcued fat
4 tbsp pomegrante
½ cup dehydrated blueberries
2 tbsp toasted coconut chips

steps

1. In a medium bowl combine UNCLE TOBY’S Bircher Muesli and milk. Refrigerate overnight.

2. In a medium bowl; combined soaked oats and yoghurt. Divide mixture between two bowls, top with pomegrante, blueberries and toasted coconut.
